Young guns Matt Tanner, Mike Gee and Eric Gross joins Herbie Fletcher, Terry Simms and Jeff Kramer for some lessons in performance longboarding at the oceanfront surf camp, “Ponky Icaza’s.” The crew then sails to a secret reef where the water is clear and the barrels are plentiful. Then, jet back to Cali for a clinic on style, San Onofre provides the waves for the vintage longboard contest where Joel Tudor shows he’s a true master. Style icons Skip Frye and Yancy Spencer glide and trim like pelicans in flight while Herbie Fletcher gets a session at one of the last secret spots in California.   |
